so cool!
Thank you for the mantra...I love it! Is that a self portrait? I watched the video on Roy Eugene Davis. I actually was able to attend one of his lectures back in the 80's. I consider Paramahansa Yogananda one of my earliest spiritual teachers. I loved his gentle teachings and was thrilled to hear Mr. Davis speak. I also took Kriya initiation from one of Yogananda's students in the late 80's. Swami Hariharananda ji came to the Orlando area many times and lectured and led meditations and gave Kriya initiations. I was fortunate to be able to serve him personally and witness many initiations. He was very humble and kind to me. One of my brothers is very involved with Self Realization Fellowship out in California and has been a devotee of Yogananda's since the 60's. Do you have a history with SRF? I would love to hear from you again. Thanks for writing to me.

following dialog: Thereafter Atri asked Yajnavalkya , "How am I to
realize the Self which is infinate and unmanifested?" Yajnavalka
replied, "That avimukti {The ignorance freed ', Lord Siva} is to be
worshipped. The Self which is infinite and unmanifested is established
{i.e. not different from} in the Lord Avimukti." Where is this Lord
Avimukti established? He is established in between the Varana and the
Nasi' What is Varana and what is Nasi? The Varana is so called
because
it wards off {varayati} all the faults committed by the{ sensory and
motor} organs. Yhe Nasi is so named as it destroys {nasayati} all sins
committed by the organs. Which is the seat of that {Avimukti}? That,
which is the juncture of the eyebrows and the nose, is the juncture of
the heaven {i.e., the crown of the head) and this world (i.e. the
chin).
The knowers of the Veda worship indeed this juncture (Sandhi) as
Sandhya at dawn, noon, and dusk. That avimukti is to be worshipped .
He
who knows this Avimukti thus imparts the Avimukti knowledge of
non-duality to his disciples.
